How to Apply
The CVWDI uses DICAS (Dietetic Internship Centralized Application System) for receiving and processing applications. For more information about how to complete your application, please visit the DICAS Platform.
Applicants need to address the following 7 questions in their personal statement:
TOEFL results are required if the applicant's native language is not English and the applicant did not graduate from a college or university in the United States. Applicants must submit TOEFL results to Dietetic Internship Coordinator. Please contact the Dietetic Internship Coordinator with questions or concerns.
There is no application fee for our program.
Applicants need to address the following 7 questions in their personal statement:
- Why do you want to enter the dietetics profession?
- Discuss experiences that have helped prepare you for your career.
- What are your short-term and long-term goals?
- What are your strengths and what are areas needing improvement?
- What other information do you consider important for the selection committee to know?
- Describe any challenges you have faced on the path to becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
- Where would you like to work after you become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, (in what geographical area), and why?
