How to Apply

The Central Valley WIC Dietetic Internship (CVWDI) has 6 internship positions.  The positions are usually filled with both preselection and Fall Computer Match applicants.

California WIC employees, who have worked at a local WIC agency for 6 consecutive months prior to applying to the internship, and who meet internship requirements, are eligible to apply during the preselection process.  California WIC employees need to submit their application through DICAS.  The application deadline for preselection is January 15, 2021.  California WIC employee applicants who are selected for internship positions will be notified by February 4, 2021.

For open internship positions, not filled by California WIC employees, applications will be accepted from all eligible applicants, and filled during the Spring Computer Match process in 2021.  The Central Valley WIC Dietetic Internship will post the number of open positions on the front page of its website on Friday, February 5, 2021.  All eligible applicants are encouraged to apply (both WIC and non-WIC employees). Spring Computer Match applicants also need to submit their applications through DICAS. Please visit the D & D Digital website  (www.dnddigital.com) for deadlines regarding the Spring Computer Match  process.

The CVWDI uses DICAS (Dietetic Internship Centralized Application System) for receiving and processing applications.  For more information about how to complete your application through DICAS, please visit their website at https://portal.dicas.org.
