The Central Valley WIC Dietetic Internship is excited to offer five education options for California WIC employees seeking to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
Track 1: Master's Degree with Dietetic Internship, now with 3 online degree options
Track 1: Master's Degree with Dietetic Internship, now with 3 online degree options
- Master's Degree in Applied Nutrition with Russell Sage College
- Master of Advanced Study in Maternal and Child Nutrition with University of California, Davis
- Master of Professional Studies with a concentration in Leadership in Nutrition with Middle Tennessee State University
- For WIC employees who already have a graduate degree
- For WIC employees who have completed at least 50% of an online graduate degree at the time of enrollment in the internship program.
Internship Positions and Application Deadline
- We have four open positions for the Master's Degree with Dietetic Internship track. Selected applicants start their online graduate classes in 2026, and their rotations in 2027.
- We have three open positions for the Dietetic Internship track, for applicants who already have a graduate degree, or who have completed more than 50% of an online graduate degree at the time of enrollment. Selected applicants will start their rotations in January 2026.

The Central Valley WIC Dietetic Internship is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
