About Us
We started with our first class of interns in 2004. Our program was created to help address the shortage of registered dietitians, specifically in WIC Programs, across California's Central Valley. Our graduates were quickly hired for positions in all areas of dietetics: community, clinical, food systems management and beyond. Our graduates continue to successfully find employment in the Central Valley and throughout California. Our latest growth comes as we transition to offering a combined MS/DI Program with Russell Sage College, and a DI Program, for applicants who already have a master's degree. On this page is our first MS/DI program flyer. Our emphasis continues to be providing a community-focused program that fosters the development of diverse, entry-level registered dietitian nutritionists, who promote healthy lifestyles and improve the nutritional status of Central Valley residents through education and support.
